Why I Started Michigan Moto Rentals
Racing motocross is more than just time on a bike—it creates a second family and a lifetime of unforgettable memories. The friendships you build at the track will last forever. You also learn how to celebrate wins and learn from losses. Motocross teaches you discipline, resilience, and confidence in a way few other sports can—you learn how to handle pressure, push through fear, and keep improving no matter the obstacles. If you’re thinking about getting into motocross, know that it’s not just a sport—it’s an experience that will shape you, challenge you, and connect you to people and lessons that last a lifetime.
Unfortunately, getting started in this amazing sport is extremely hard and that's what stops so many people from being to experience it. You need to buy a dirt bike, gear, tools, transportation, fuel, and do maintenance. This can quickly add up and keep individuals from ever getting started.
Especially for parents who's child might be on the fence about wanting a dirt bike. We understand that kids change their minds constantly. One second they could be begging for a dirt bike, and then decide they don't like it right after you have already purchased all the equipment! So avoid that by bringing your child to the track and renting. That way you can test the waters to see if this is something you and your family are really going to enjoy together.
Michigan Moto Rentals exists to remove that barrier. Riders can show up and experience motocross without needing to own their own equipment first. You just show up and ride! We take care of everything else. My goal with starting this business was to try to get new riders back into the sport and help grow this amazing community.
